Latest Fun raising News

 

Next year 2010 we are hoping to purchase our new Flexi School Centre which will support young people who are being home-educated and support young people who are struggling in the school system. We will work in partnership with parents and schools

 

We will offer educational facilities, tutors in all subjects at discount prices, exam facilities, parent support groups, support for young people and special support for young people who have dyslexia and other learning difficulties 

 

 We will also offer work experience opportunties, offer IGCSEs, Youth Achievment awards, Asdan, and OCN qualifications and run lots of  fun learning events  where our members can get together and meet other like minded people. The centre will be open 7 days a week. 

 

We have found the perfect venue, which is set in the quiet countryside on a large plot of land and with the potential to rent out buildings and offices to other like minded people, that we feel would work well alongside us.

 

The centre will be aimed at all ages, at the weekend we will run family learning days where parents will be welcome to attend and we will be looking at using maybe the top part of the floor as accomodation for families to come and stay  and for families who would like to visit our centre and have to travel a great distance.

 

It is very exciting and we have already been supported by our local council who have given us two grants to run our activities at our present venue.

 

Any fund raising ideas will be greatly appreciated or any other ideas which will help us meet our goals.

 

Heroes Flexi School  will be set up as non for profit social enterprise limited by shares.
